It is still exciting for me to create new pieces after all these years as a jeweler. What will this be? Will the drawing look good in three dimensions? Will it have a face, like the lights on cars do? Will it be abstract enough to be interesting, yet be still be familiar? Can I make it heavy or lightweight? I let these thoughts pass by as I continue to make one decision after the other, until the piece is complete.

A light green-yellow prehnite gemstone surrounded by a multi layered frame that is 1.18” (3 cm) wide and 1.18" (3 cm) long.

The adjustable ring band is wide at the front: 0.62" (1.6 cm), and tapers down towards the back opening to fit comfortably.

This one of a kind ring is hand forged with 100% recycled sterling silver. I can cut it to fit any size between 5 and 10.5. Once I cut it, you will still be able to open it half a size.

Darkened sterling silver will lighten with use, but the recessed areas will remain dark.

ANILLO PALOMILLA

Todavía me emociona crear nuevas piezas después de tantos años como joyera. ¿Qué resultará? ¿El dibujo quedará bien en tres dimensiones? ¿Tendrá cara, como las luces de los coches? ¿Será lo suficientemente abstracta como para ser interesante y, al mismo tiempo, parecer familiar? ¿La puedo hacer pesada o ligera? Dejo pasar estos pensamientos mientras continúo tomando una decisión tras otra, hasta que la pieza está completa.

Una prehnita color verde amarillo, rodeada por un marco de varias capas que mide 1.6 cm de ancho por 1.6 cm de largo.

El brazo del anillo es más ancho al frente: 1.6 cm, y se hace más angosto hacia la parte de atrás para que quede cómodo.

Este anillo es pieza única y está forjado a mano con plata reciclada. Lo puedo recortar a cualquier talla entre 5 y 10.5. Ya que lo recorte, todavía lo vas a poder abrir media talla.
